A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of porcelain placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the esthetics of a tooth or to protect a damaged tooth structure.

Upon moderate preparation of the tooth surface, we use iTero digital scanner to scan your tooth structure in 3-D, and send the data to a highly skilled laboratory to fabricate an accurate thin layer of porcelain facing that fits your tooth perfectly.  In most cases,  we make a temporary veneer for you while waiting for the laboratory process.  Once we receive your veneer from the lab, we use a strong resin cement to glue it onto your tooth surface.  Once it is cemented, it is very strong, and it looks and feels like your own tooth.

If your teeth are thin, have small spaces between them and relatively straight, you may choose Lumineers, which are more conservative veneers.
