Porcelain Veneers | Bonding and Tooth Colored Fillings
Bonding and tooth colored fillings are a group of restorative materials called composite resin. They are essentially plastic materials that are chemically bonded to natural tooth struncture to repair physical defects (such as chips, wear, gumline notches, etc) or to repair chemical defects (erosions) or to fill cavities (decays). They can also be used as low cost alternative cosmetic procedures for a variety of dental conditions, such as gaps , minor crooked/uneven teeth, discolorations, etc.
1. Physical Defect Repair.
2. Chemical Defect Repair (erosions)
3. Cavity Filling in the front teeth
4. Cavity Filling in the back teeth
5. Closing Gaps
6. Reshaping/Repositioning of Teeth
7. Color Modification
Composite bonding may look very similar to porcelain veneers when they are new. However, they do not last as long as porcelain, and not as color stable as porcelain. For more cosmetic and lasting smile enhancement, we recomend porcelain veneers or Lumineers.
